EAS Awarded Quality Contractor of the Month

It is with great pleasure to announce EAS has been awarded “Quality Contractor of the Month” for the Baxter Program Covington site. Covington Georgia.

Environmental Air Systems employees with management accepted this challenge and with assistance from the Quality Control department have proven a team with 100 percent cooperation can achieve a goal of becoming a recognized force for quality product and installation in our industry.

Fitzpatrick Awarded Scholarship

Congratulations to Mr. Cyrus Fitzpatrick (Son of Mike Fitzpatrick – EAS High Point). Cyrus was one of the four children of employees that was awarded a CSUSA scholarship for 2014. The award is $10,000: $2,500 each year for four years, provided he maintains a certain GPA. He ranked 8th out of a class of 455 at Northwest Guilford High School with a cumulative GPA 5.20. Cyrus will be attending UNC Chapel Hill this fall majoring in biology and plans to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Fitzpatrick Earns MESH Certificate

Mike Fitzpatrick (EAS High Point), was recently notified by the MESH Board of Directors that he had successfully completed the requirements and earned the Manager of Environmental, Safety and Health Certificate. The MESH Certificate is awarded to individuals who demonstrate achievement through education in occupational safety, health and the environment. This program prepares managers for keeping their worksites safe & healthy, and that preparation improves employee protection and company productivity. Congratulations Mike Fitzpatrick.

Fidelity Investments is set to open a state-of-the-art data center in Nebraska based on a design it has been working on for five years. Fidelity aims to use as much open source code and standardized Open Compute hardware as possible in its data center, along with its own proprietary “Click to Compute” server orchestration and management system. Kelly Morgan, Daniel Bizo 14- Aug, 2013 ~ As a privately owned financial institution, Fidelity Investments has been known for its attention to detail and willingness to think and invest for the long term.  Both are in evidence in its approach to datacenters.  The firm built quite a few traditional facilities over the years, but in 2008 began seeking an approach that would provide rapid on-site deployment, along with its usual requirements for very high reliability and quality, yet could still be adapted to suit emerging technology trends.  The result is Centercore, Fidelity’s own version of an off-site constructed datacenter that is relatively quick to build yet flexible in design.  Fidelity developed the concept with help of Integrated Design Group (a patent is pending) and is now advancing the Centercore brand by licensing the underlying technology to its fabricator Environmental Air Systems.  Read More…(Attach to link…)
