EAS Awarded Certificate of Commendation

January 19, 2016 – EAS was awarded the Certificate of Commendation from Toray this week. The “Golden Award” was presented to Willie Bullock on behalf of EAS for “Cost reduction by applying the module method for pipe rack.” This award is in recognition of all the constructive efforts EAS has made for the module pipe rack plan for SC-1 Project, which created the outstanding achievements.

Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University

Goodwin Hall, Virginia Tech’s 155,000 SF signature engineering building, houses several engineering schools in one shared interdisciplinary facility. This state-of-the-art academic facility focuses on undergraduates, with 40 highly specialized instructional and research laboratories to support hands-on problem solving and active learning for the Departments of Aerospace and Ocean Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Engineering Education, and Mechanical Engineering. Goodwin Hall also includes the 300-seat Quillen Family Auditorium with off-campus satellite class hosting capabilities, eight large classrooms, a café, secluded study areas, a floating “Capsule” conference room and communications area, as well as 150 offices for faculty, staff, and graduate students.

On Friday, April 24, Brian Lane, President of Comfort Systems USA, and Bill George, CFO of Custom Systems USA, presented Environmental Air Systems with two major awards.

EAS received the Outstanding Company Award, which is presented to the top companies within CSUSA that achieve excellence in safety, quality, and profit. EAS also received the Company of the Year Award, which is presented to the top company that achieved the best ratings in safety, quality, and profit.

EAS is one of 40 mechanical contractors that is in partnership with Comfort Systems USA, Inc.

EAS Acquires Third Manufacturing Facility

EAS has acquired its third manufacturing facility, adding 95,000 square feet. The facility will be dedicated to Off Site Constructed (OSC) Data Centers and Specialized OSC Projects. The next Centercore Project now occupies the floor, which is a Phase 2/Day 2 build for this client.
